Don’t rely on others for your retirement
by By Marilyn Rigg, State Farm® agent

Retirement planning is something everyone needs regardless of their existing situations. If the current financial debates tell us anything it’s this: the only funding you can count on is that which you do yourself.

Antioxidants & Sun Block – Anti-aging/Anti-Cancer Skin Protection
by Carol Lynne Fouad – Licensed Aesthetician (Sakani Spa and Salon)

If your physician informed you that your heart was at risk, would you heed his advice and protect this vital organ any way you could…..perhaps by eating a healthier diet, taking dietary supplements (or medication as needed) and taking an evening walk for exercise?  Well, if you value your life, I bet you would!   Matter of fact, if the doctor told you that you would look years younger and appear more vibrant if you would do those simple things to improve your health……and if in fact that proved true…….you would applaud his genius.  You would be grateful for your health and admire the reflection in the mirror…..the outward sign of improved health.  That just makes sense.

Help is on the way for troubled homeowners
by Bernard Berrier

Home-mortgage delinquencies and foreclosures have been surging in recent months, especially for people who took out subprime mortgages — higher-priced loans for people with poor credit or low incomes who are considered greater risks. The distress has concerned financial markets and caused anxiety that it could spill over into the broader economy.
