by Mark Yarbrough, President OACC

Due to the income generated by the consumption of goods and services by tourists, the taxes levied on businesses in the tourism industry, and the opportunity for employment and economic advancement by working in the industry. For these reasons it is important to all of us that we put our best foot forward when promoting our area, events and activities. We all need to do our part to promote tourism.

I challenge our community to beat Ventura!
by Kathy McCorry, Executive Director OACC

We average $30.00 a month of our local schools. We could use more commitments from local businesses to recycle. The Chamber provides free collection boxes and mailing. In fact we will even pick up the boxes so the businesses don't even need to prepare the boxes for return shipping. This is a great program and an easy way to help local schools.
