Work Ethic and YOU
by Barry Bailey

Every organization has an expected work ethic. It is usually ingrained into the very fabric of the company. The work ethic is usually unwritten but it exists in many activities. Email Etiquette
Sending emails is becoming more and more complicated as we are inundated with unsolicited spam. New laws now prohibit much or our correspondence by classifying our own emails as spam. Remember if you are sending an email to several clients, customers, or potential customers at one time, you need to have their permission first, and then all of your emails need to have an “opt out” option. All email addresses need to be blind and not visible in a “cc” or in the body of the email.

The attack on small business continues
by Senator Bob Dutton

As a citizen statesman, I've never considered myself a career politician. I had a professional life before I was elected to office and I'll have a professional life after I leave politics. In my life outside of politics I've signed both the front and back of a paycheck and know first hand the pressure a business owner faces in operating a successful venture.

Signing off...

I actually resigned from my position as Chamber Web Administrator back in March but kept doing the newsletter wearing my other hat “Digital Mirrors” which I have operated with my wife Lisa in the Mountain Area since 2002.
Thank you,
Chris Baker
