After months of data gathering
and processing, the Leadership
Council along with consultant Michael Gallis will report and answer questions
on their understanding of how Central Floridas seven-county region fits
into Floridas and the worlds rapidly changing environment.
Each area or Essential
Activity will be discussed in a 90-minute, electronically interactive
segment during the sessions. Participants will see firsthand the dynamic and
complex mapping system developed by Gallis and his team, which is based on the
data that has been collected. More than 250 full-color maps will be displayed
and discussed, providing a tangible and detailed look at how the regions
communities and systems, such as transportation and education, function individually
and in concert with each other, and how they compare to other regions statewide,
nationally and globally.
