myregion.org has created a Speakers Bureau and volunteer speakers are now ready to visit civic groups, trade associations and other public venues to explain and answer questions about this unique critical analysis of the seven-county region.  

 “We’ve received several requests from throughout the region to hear more about this initiative, so we’ve created the bureau to help educate the community about where we are now and where this critical analysis is headed,” said myregion.org Chairman Joel Hass.  

“This is a great opportunity to get out into the community and build more awareness of regional issues,” said Hass, who has made numerous presentations since the program was rolled out in December. Hass said presentations have been “very well received.”  

Volunteer speakers will be “certified” after completing the two-hour training program scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 27 at the Orlando Regional Chamber.
