Virginia-Israel Alliance Newsletter: How have investments in Israeli technology companies benefited AOL?

Leader: America Online Time Warner (AOL) - based in Dulles, Virginia - is best known in Israel for its acquisition of ICQ, a provider of widely popular instant messaging services. We are very bullish on the Israeli venture market. We have made 14 investments in Israeli companies, including investments in four Israeli based venture capital firms, totaling approximately $60 million. We continue to see high quality and relevant deal flow from Israel, and are excited about the opportunities to continue investing in Israeli companies.
