“The Healthcare Revolution: Things that Haven’t
Been Done Well in Healthcare,” is the theme of the 10th Annual National
Conference of the Central Florida Health Care Coalition, to be held at the Orange
County Convention Center, February 26-27, 2003.
Members of myregion.org’s
Executive Committee have received complimentary admission to the conference
and will be joining an array of local and national leading experts from a wide
range of healthcare disciplines to discuss the latest developments on current
healthcare issues such as: medical liability insurance, patient education and
compliance, patient advocacy and quality measurement, among others.
The Central Florida Health Care Coalition is a
non-profit organization serving the seven-county region. Its purpose is to reduce
the rate of increase in the cost of healthcare services without compromising
quality and to educate health care consumers. Members include employers and
providers who have come together as one to make Central Florida the best and
safest place to receive healthcare.
The event is sponsored by public and private entities
throughout the region, including several of myregion.org’s
funding partners such as: Walt Disney World, Orange, Seminole, Polk and Brevard
County Governments, the City of Orlando and Darden Restaurants.
