East County Transportation Issues to Highlight First Friday Breakfast

SANDAG Executive Director, Gary Gallegos and Pedro Orso-Delgaldo, District 11 Director for CALTRANS will speak on transporation issues and what the future of East County’s roads and highways will look like.
The breakfast will be held Friday, April 6, from 7: 15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the La Mesa Community Center and will be a joint meeting with the La Mesa Sunrise Rotary Club. Sponsoring the Breakfast will be the East County Youth Symphony.

Breakfast Club Saves Money for First Friday Regulars

For those who wouldn’t miss a First Friday Breakfast, the Chamber is now offering a “Breakfast Club Pass”. The pass allows you to attend all 10 First Friday Breakfasts in a given 12-month period. The pass costs $150.
Due to increasing costs for catering and room rental, starting in April individual breakfasts will cost $20.00 for members. So Breakfast Club members can realize a $50.00 savings.

Grossmont Healthcare District to be Lead Sponsor for Summer Health Expo

A reengineered health fair, to be held at Grossmont Center on June 29th will again be sponsored by the Grossmont Healthcare District. The health fair, which will be on Friday this year in Macy’s Court, will feature screenings and health information from Sharp Grossmont Hospital and other health care providers and services throughout San Diego County.
