State of the East County to Be Focus of First Friday Breakfast


The San Diego East County Chamber of Commerce’s First Friday Breakfast will begin a month of activities celebrating East County Prosperity. Sponsoring the program is the East County Economic Development Council. The program will highlight the East County Economic Development Council and will feature reports from the mayors and elected officials of La Mesa, El Cajon, Lemon Grove and Santee, and County Supervisor Dianne Jacob.

The breakfast will be held Friday, May 2, from 7: 15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. at the new Student Center at Cuyamaca College.

The First Friday Breakfasts allow members to interact with other members and government officials from the East County. Elected officials give reports and drawings are held for Chamber members to win prizes of CASH of $200 courtesy of Century 21 All Services and$250 from Temecula Valley Bank.

Charge for the event is $20 for members who pre-reserve and $25 at the door for members or potential members. To reserve you can call the Chamber Reservation Hotline at 440-0706. To ensure enough seating and food please RSVP by April 30.
