Another successful Kids in Distress dinner!
Raising over $15,000 for this great local charity.
I wanted to say thanks to all the people involved with putting together the Kids in distress dinner we hosted this December. Through generous donations of time by the chefs, and money by our patrons, we were able to raise a great deal of money for this worthwhile charity taking care of children. I can't thank you all enough.

Glühwein, a German mulled wine recipe
Great for cold winter nights!
In Heidelberg, Germany I encountered a cold that was strange to someone from South Florida. Fortunately, I found glühwein. It was a joy to walk into a warm bar and order this tasty mulled wine, bursting with spicy flavors. Here is one of my favorite versions. There are many variations to the recipe that you can do. Add your favorite spices and even make it sweeter if you prefer.
