To any chef in the country, the Chefs Garden represents top notch chef driven farming at the highest level. Being a farm boy, I was floored on my recent visit to the farm in Huron, Ohio. Traveling Food Adventures are the best!
A lesson in eating land crabs!

On a recent trip to the island of Grand Cayman, I spent one of my evenings learning how to catch, cook, and eat land crabs that come out during the rainy season. It seems to be a similiar ritual to my experience eating blue crabs as a kid. You pick furiously for small amounts of tasty sweet crab meat, but there is always plenty of beer and lots of laughs.

Zucchini has a very delicate and elegant flavor that is perfect to serve with any seafood item from crab to tuna. This recipe is visually fun and a great idea for parties. Keep the chilled soup in a rinsed wine bottle and packed in ice.

Homemade Heirloom Tomato Bloody Mary's!
Drinking healthy has never been so good!

If you are a bloody mary fan, you must try to make your own bloody mary mix. It will really make this a super special occasion. Try it with summer heirloom tomatoes to create a flavor that will blow away your friends and family. Enjoy responsibly!

Chefs Club South Florida

Most people are super intimidated to cook for chefs, but we are probably the easiest diners around. Once a month, South Florida chefs gather together to talk shop and bond at our local Chefs Club. On these get togethers, it's all about simple food, fresh and fun. 3030 Ocean hosted the last event on the beach in front of the restaurant. Check out our pig roast!
