Strategic Performance Management System

Starting this year, there will be a uniform system of performance evaluation for DCCCD administrators. September 2008 to August 2009 is the pilot year for the new program announced by Human and Organizational Development (HOD).

Organizational Development iconThe three stylized figures in Organizational Development’s (OrgDev) icon symbolize “building community, building leadership and building careers,” according to Yolanda Nolan, district director of OrgDev. “We chose this graphic because it represents the mission and vision of our office,” she added.

This department is responsible for districtwide training and development for our faculty, staff and administrators. Check the events calendar for staff development opportunities.

Mark Your Calendars Now for Summer Enrollment, Benefits Fair

This year, retirees will get a head start in making their benefit changes. Employees Retirement System of Texas (ERS) has added a special summer enrollment period for retirees only.

Retirees and their family members may enroll and make changes to their benefits July 14-26. After that, regular summer benefits enrollment will open July 28 through Aug. 22 for regular active employees.

Plan now to attend the ERS benefits fair on Aug. 4 at the Bill Priest campus of El Centro College. Representatives and service providers will be available to answer questions about health and other benefits. Look for more information districtwide as details are finalized.
