Officers and Security Personnel Receive New Salary Schedule

Beginning March 1, 2008, campus police officers, peace officers and police chiefs are on a new salary schedule. This applies to police positions, and not to nonpolice positions such as dispatcher. This salary adjustment was made to maintain salaries competitive with salaries offered outside of DCCCD. This will enable the district to maintain quality safety and security employees for the district.

Contact your location HR office for more information.

Changes Coming Soon!

There are a few changes on the horizon for employees of the district:

  • A revision to the grievance procedures
  • Revisions to the Visiting Scholar program
  • A districtwide telecommuting policy
  • Internship Program changes
Stay in contact with your location HR office for more information on these changes and revisions in the next few months.
