DCCCD Launches New Ad Campaign
Have you noticed the new DCCCD billboards around town? Well, that was just the beginning. Soon, you’ll see and hear new TV and radio commercials, as well as print ads, in English and Spanish, all part of the district’s new ad campaign.
We’re updating the home page at http://www.dcccd.edu, too, adding profiles of 17 new DCCCD alumni and faculty. On our Web site, you can learn more about:
and other amazing DCCCD graduates and instructors.
The new ad campaign not only features the stories of our alumni and faculty; it also spotlights their many talents. Francis Osentowski, North Lake College music professor, composed the music used in the radio and TV commercials. Listen carefully and you’ll hear Osentowski playing keyboards and North Lake instructor Jim Eger on guitar. The music was produced in the recording studio of Andy Chiles, director of North Lake’s Video Technology program.
And the announcer’s voice you hear on the Spanish-language TV and radio commercials? That’s Maria Caratini-Prado, director of Eastfield College’s American Language Institute ESL/Credit ESOL/Foreign Languages Teaching Academy.
