Register Early – Get More Time to Pay!

Need more time to pay for classes? Register early! If you register early for Fall credit classes, lines will be shorter, you’ll have a better chance of getting the classes you want … and you’ll also have more time to pay your tuition.

The difference is a big one, too. Register for Fall semester credit classes by July 3, and you’ll have four weeks from the day you register before your payment is due. But if you register Aug. 11 or later, you’ll have to pay up that same day.

Why wait? Learn more about payment due dates, and register for Fall today!

Study Abroad and Expand Your Horizons

Grab your passport and see the world - and get college credit!Anyone who’s studied in another country will tell you it’s one of the best ways to learn about another culture – besides being a fun and fulfilling experience.

DCCCD offers a variety of international study opportunities, including semester-length programs, summer courses and other non-semester-length courses offered during the year. In the past, students have earned college credit in the lush rainforests of Costa Rica, in Central America; studied Spanish in Spain; and experienced the rich culture of Senegal, West Africa – and these are just a few of the nations where courses have been offered.

As a DCCCD student, you can participate in any study abroad opportunity offered by a DCCCD college – whether it’s your home college or not. And although studying in another country can be a great way to learn a new language or enhance your language skills, most DCCCD international courses don’t require you to know a foreign language.

Visit the International Studies Web page for more information.

Consider a Career in Logistics Technology

Work in an industry essential to the nation's economy!Chances are, you know what logistics technology is ... but you may not know it by its name. Logistics technology involves managing the flow of materials, transforming them into finished goods and delivering those goods to the buyer — critical processes in today’s economy.

The DFW metroplex is one of the largest points of distribution and logistics in the United States. DCCCD’s specialized courses in warehouse, traffic, transportation management, storage and distribution, and inventory control give you a competitive edge in this booming job market.

Learn how you can be part of this growing, profitable industry — visit the Logistics Technology program page at http://www.dcccd.edu/logistics.
