Scholarships: Not Just for New Students!

Come talk to the money people.Did you know that many scholarships are open to current students — not just people who are new to college?

For example, two of DCCCD’s most popular scholarship programs — the Erin Tierney Kramp Encouragement Award and the R. Jan LeCroy Scholars Program — accept applications from students who are already enrolled at DCCCD.

You can get more information about the more than 350 other scholarships offered through the DCCCD Foundation as well as outside (non-DCCCD) scholarships on our Scholarships, Rising Star Program and DCCCD Foundation Web page.

Did You Know … ?

Use our search feature!Having trouble finding the information you need on our Web site? Try using our Search feature. (There’s a Search link in the upper-right corner of the home page at http://www.dcccd.edu.)

You can:

  • enter a phrase and ask the search software to match some of the words, all of the words or the exact phrase
  • use the “Search in” drop-down box to search specifically in the current or past catalogs, the Libraries pages or other specific areas
We use a feature called Search Headers to help point you to information we think you’re looking for. That way, you don’t have to wade through information you probably don’t care about. For example, if you enter “academic calendar” or just “calendar,” you’ll see a box that says “Looking for this?” that has a link to our main academic calendar page.

Give Search a try, and let us know what you think.
