Register Now for Fall Credit Classes

It’s time to register for Fall semester credit classes!

Visit eConnect to find out if you’re eligible to register online. If you are, take advantage of this convenient service. If not, please visit the Admissions/Registrar’s Office at your college and register in person.

Financial Aid: Did You Know ... ?
  • If you have completed your financial aid application but haven’t received an award notification yet, you can check on eConnect to see what missing information may be holding up your award letter.
  • If you haven’t done so yet, be sure to select a program of study on eConnect. You must select a program of study (designating the degree or certificate program that you want to earn) before you can get your financial aid money.
  • If you have gotten your award notification, you must activate your award on eConnect before your aid money can be paid to your account when school starts.
  • If you are expecting a financial aid refund, you can see if your refund has been processed by looking at your account on eConnect. Tuition is paid and initial disbursements may start going out up to 10 days before the start of class.
Have questions? More than 50 of the most Frequently Asked Questions about financial aid are on the DCCCD district Web site. In addition, each college Financial Aid Office has qualified financial aid counselors available to help you with personal questions about your financial aid eligibility.

Hot Programs: Spotlight on Computer Information Technology

Did you know that DCCCD offers nearly 350 career and technical degrees and certificates, plus 36 academic degrees? (See them all in our chart that shows degree plans by location.)

The new Credit Programs page on our Web site gives you in-depth information about some of our programs. (We’re adding new programs to this page all the time!) One program worth checking out is Computer Information Technology (CIT).

The computer industry is one of the largest and fastest-growing industries in the world — and experts anticipate the number of jobs in this field will skyrocket.

DCCCD’s Computer Information Technology program can prepare you for a wide variety of computer-related jobs. Here are just a few examples:

  • Network administrator
  • Computer support specialist
  • Software developer
  • Database analyst
  • Webmaster
Read our Student Success Stories to find out what some former DCCCD students have to say about the CIT program — and how it helped them achieve their dreams.
