This Week in Austin
Quote of the week (paraphrased):
“I don’t just sign something without first reading it. I did so in this instance because it was Wright Lassiter asking.”
–Sen. Royce West, explaining why he signed the Community College Caucus commitment form without reading it.

Legislative Meetings
On Monday, Dr. Lassiter met with three members of our legislative delegation – Sen. Royce West, Sen. Chris Harris and Rep. Kirk England. These meetings offered an opportunity to create new relationships with DCCCD and strengthen existing ones.
