Does a career in accounting appeal to you? If you’re planning to major in accounting, the DCCCD Foundation offers a scholarship that could help fund the way to your future.
The Dr. Walter L. Pike Scholarship Fund honors the first vice chancellor of business affairs for DCCCD. To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:
- have a declared major in accounting
- have and maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA
- be a U.S. citizen
- enroll in a minimum of nine credit hours each semester

Pike Scholarship winners are awarded up to $500 each semester that can be used at any DCCCD college.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is the third Friday in May. Visit the
