Student Success Story: David Raef
 After high school, David Raef started working as an automotive technician. Seven years later, he had learned a lot on the job, but he realized getting a formal education would help him reach his full potential. So David enrolled in the Automotive Technology program at DCCCD.
“It was an amazing experience,” David says. “The training I received turned me into the highly skilled technician that I always wanted to be and even sharpened diagnostic skills that I never knew I had.”
“My college experience also taught me to think for myself and to become more resourceful,” he says. “Receiving my associate degree also opened doors that I had not initially imagined. I now have a career that I enjoy and have promise for the future.”
