Legislation
 Two bills that are of particular interest to DCCCD are: SB 1052 and SB 1064.
SB 1052 relates to tuition credits for students who complete the core curriculum at two-year public institutions of higher education. Read more about SB 1052.
SB 1064 addresses community college purchasing provisions; DCCCD has been instrumental in collaborating on this bill with Sen. Royce West. Staff plans to testify on behalf of SB 1064 at an upcoming hearing before the Senate Subcommittee on Higher Education. Read more about SB 1064.
