Cannon introduces a distinctive new premium Malbec to the U.S.

The Original Malbec
by Rigal in Cahors

F + J Rigal, an historic winery in southwestern France near Bordeaux, has introduced a well-priced premium Malbec to the U.S., marketed by Cannon. “The Original Malbec” is a fine example of Cahors wines (most of which are Malbec), which are famous for their dark color, intensity and depth. Michael Apstein has high praise for the Adams French Vineyards
Bordeaux Portfolio

Michael Apstein has been a wine educator for over twenty years and freelance contributor to many national magazines; he is also a James Beard award winner for wine writing.  In his article, Apstein gives high praises to Steve Adams and the Adams French Vineyards portfolio, a collection of newly renovated chateaux based in the historic right bank of Bordeaux.  Apstein outlines Mr. Adams' re-invention of each property, and his appointment of Michel Rolland as consultant winemaker for the portfolio.

The wines from Adams French Vineyards are exclusively imported in the United States by Cannon Wines Limited. Click here to read the entire article by Michael Apstein.
