World-renowned wine journalist, Steven Spurrier, praised Clos de Nouys, Vouvray Grains Adore, in the July 2008 issue of Decanter. Spurrier has awarded Clos de Nouys with “Best Sweet Wine” in his Spurrier’s World feature column.
 Spurrier is the consulting editor for Decanter magazine, he is also the founder of the Academie du Vin and Christie's Wine Course in addition to authoring and co-authoring over a dozen books on wine.
