Cannon Wines Has Been Selected as the Only Wine Supplier for the International Emmy Awards 2007
Cannon Wines Limited has been selected as the only wine supplier for the International Emmy Awards at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. From guests like Steven Spielberg and Oprah Winfrey, this highly acclaimed and prestigious event hosts some of the most important names in broadcasting. As the sole-sponsor for the evening’s wine, Cannon has offered an assortment of premium French wines, which will be poured at the cocktail hour and gala dinner.
The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is the largest organization of global broadcasters, with members from nearly 70 countries and over 400 companies. Sixty percent of the Board of Directors come from countries based outside of the U.S., and represents the world's largest production, distribution and broadcast companies.

The Loire Valley wines from Pierre Chainier are exclusively imported in the United States by Cannon Wines limited.
In France there exists a placid region, a land of rivers and kingdoms and rolling vineyards. That region is the Loire Valley, long lived by kings; it is home to century-old stretches of vineyards. Few places in the world can boast a comparable environment with as many different terroirs and such diverse appellations. Little wonder then that Pierre Chainier chose this special place to raise his children and build his wine estates, known today as Domaine Chainier.
Pierre Chainier’s site on the banks of the Loire is not very old. Indeed, it only dates back to the 1960s. However, his ancestors were already producing wine in the Bordeaux region back in the mid 18th Century and his wife’s family were wine growers and merchants in Cognac at the end of the 19th Century.
For Pierre, the Loire was a case of love at first sight...
