Veuve du Vernay Sparkling Wine Launches Website

Please join us in welcoming the new website for Veuve du Vernay, sparkling wines made by SOREVI, imported in the United States by Cannon Wines Limited.  The website not only has information and photos on the products, but also will be routinely updated with recent press and brand activities.

About Veuve du Vernay
Mr. Jean Eugéne Charmat, the French scientist who invented the closed vat method of fermentation, founded the SOREVI wine company.  Veuve du Vernay, meaning "widow from the Vernay Village", was the first high quality sparkling wine made by Mr. Charmat.  This wine pays tribute to a generous woman coming from St. Etienne who helped him start his business.  The real name of this mysterious woman is still unknown today.  The brand "Veuve du Vernay" is distributed all over the world, and today is the major brand of SOREVI.
