About 1,600 students from low-income families in north and east King County will need help to start the school year prepared and ready to learn this September. With the help of local companies, organizations and individuals, Hopelink’s “Hoops for Hope” program will supply backpacks and school supplies to kids who, without help, would not have the school supplies they need.
