Union Planters Bank faced a difficult challenge: to change the desktop configurations of more than
1,200 computers at 75 Florida-based branches in two weeks.
“This project required the expertise of a qualified and patient team of professionals that could get the job done without interrupting our daily banking operations,” said Serafin Achurra, Union Planters’ vice president, and regional network manager. “Within one week, Compuquip’s team configured each desktop in over half our branches to assist us with a new security configuration and ensured our project was completed on time and within budget.”
Following Compuquip’s work in the Southeast region, Union Planters turned to the Miami-based IT-services company to rollout a new application to the entire corporation, which consists of more than 8,000 users at 800 branches nationwide.
“Compuquip met our challenge and provided responsive and reliable services,” Achurra said. “The company continues to demonstrate its commitment to client services and its ability to supplement our team at a moments notice.”
