What’s New at Compuquip Technologies

In February, Compuquip announced the formation of a Cabling and Wireless Division and named Brian Dreher, RCDD, director. The new division will manage the design, installation and support of voice, data, video and fiber optic wiring-schemes as well as wireless installations for offices, buildings and office complexes.

Prior to joining Compuquip, Dreher Dreher was a manager with FISK Electric Technologies, where he spent five years overseeing the design and installation of various communications and data projects. He is a member of the Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI), for which he also holds the distinction of a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD). Dreher has also earned certifications from Avaya, Ortronics, Siemon and numerous other specialized manufacturers.

Dawn Masselink has joined Compuquip as a network engineer. Previously, she was a project coordinator with Council Travel, where she managed deployment and technical support for the company’s point-of-sales system, which she helped roll out to 74 locations throughout the United States. A certified Novell administrator, Dawn has also earned certification in MCP NT Workstation 4 N/T Server 4/Server Enterprise/Net Essentials and MCP 2000 Active Directory design.

Orencio Cardenas has joined Compuquip as a network engineer. He was previously an independent contractor with TEKsystems, where he provided technical support to companies including Carnival Cruise Lines, Dell Inc., CIENA and MAREX.com.
