Terry Dortch of Automotive Compliance Consultants e-mailed to me a 168-page PDF, a compilation of recent news items from various sources about F&I compliance, regulations, violations, fines and continuing infractions that still trouble our industry.
Phew! The compliance minefield is hazardous duty to transverse. After spending just a few minutes with the PDF print-out stack, I felt like many dealers must about F&I compliance: If I keep my head buried maybe none of this will land on me.
But as in most everything else in life, non-confrontation generally leads to more problems...
