Taking the opportunity while the Texas legislature was in session, several Collin students traveled to the state capitol to join thousands of other community college students from all over Texas. 
The third, and final, speaker John F Haught (pictured at right) is set for Collin College’s 2006-07 Distinguished Speaker Series. 
Seven students expressed their visions of the future during the inaugural Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. "I Have a Dream" speech competition. 
Big grant money is coming to Collin College for workforce training.
