Collin professor named best in Texas
Texas’ top professor is not at one of the Lone Star State’s public or private universities. The number one faculty member in the state is a professor of psychology at Collin County Community College. The Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) named Collin’s own Jennifer O’Loughlin-Brooks the Texas Professor of the Year!

Collin, Texas A&M University join forces to celebrate the new ‘Aggie Bound’ admission agreement
Dogs and cats may be natural enemies, but one canine/feline combo just called a truce. Reveille, the famed Collie mascot of Texas A&M University, and Collin the Cougar joined forces in December when their respective colleges signed a special agreement. Now students who begin their college education at Collin can have guaranteed admission to complete certain degrees at Texas A&M.
