Dr. Taha Ansari, biology lab assistant, received her doctoral degree in philosophy in mathematics from The University Texas at Dallas.

Lisa Roy-Davis
Dr. Lisa Roy-Davis, professor of English, was appointed to the Committee Against Racism and Bias in the Teaching of English for the National Council of Teachers of English.
Sonja Andrus
Sonja Andrus, professor of English, was appointed to the National Council of Teachers of English/SLATE steering committee on Social and Political Concerns.


Ashley Sears, Collin College culinary arts student, received a $5,000 scholarship from the Greater Dallas Restaurant Association.
