Effective Monday, Aug. 25, Collin College will promote a more healthy and environmentally friendly campus by eliminating smoking and other tobacco use on campus.
Previously, individuals on a Collin College campus were permitted to smoke on sanctioned areas outside. Collin College administration has taken it a step further.
Violators of the new policy may be subject to fines and disciplinary action.
