Top 10 features of CougarWeb for students
CougarWeb is now open for students. This new portal system is the students' official connection to the college and central information on student records. Look for the login button on the college's website or login directly at http://cougarweb.ccccd.edu. After logging in, different tabs and content will be displayed for students, faculty, employees and guests. Each tab contains boxes of content called channels.

With the student section of the portal now live, here are the top 10 cool things about CougarWeb for students:

10. It is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week from anywhere.

9. Students can access course info and transcripts, all at their tip of their fingers.

8. One word, one hyphen: E-mail. Now CougarMail is powered by GoogleMail, and students can read their e-mail while logged into the portal (see the Student tab). Lots more storage space without all the spam.

7. Students can connect with classmates and others with similar interests in group and course studios. Plan meetings, send announcements, talk with professors, leave messages, share links and photos.

6. Students can virtually visit the library and research term papers in the middle of the night, via the Library tab.

5. Only one password needed for registration, library database access, transcript look-up, CougarMail, correspondence with professors, attending web classes and more.

4. CougarWeb users can personalize their portal. Move more important channels and information as you prioritize your space.

3. Students can view the new schedule of classes, see if a class has any space left and register all in the same place!

2. Registration will be open online 24 hours a day, even after the "late registration" period. No more standing in line the week before classes.

1. Registration for fall semester is now open for the fall in CougarWeb. Log in today.

For help logging into the portal, call the Student Help Desk at 972.377.1777.
