THE ARTS gallery will host “RANDOM THOUGHTS & curious dreams,” through Monday, June 30. The exhibit showcases the “Viewpoints 2007” Best of Show winner Carolyn Helvey. THE ARTS gallery is located at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The exhibit is free and open to the public. Gallery summer hours are: Monday-Wednesday and Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Thursday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m.; and Saturday, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. For more information, visit the gallery’s website at www.ccccd.edu/THEARTSgallery or call 972.881.5873.


Collin College students have until Sunday, June 15 to apply for
scholarships from the Collin College Foundation. Applications are available online by visiting http://foundation.ccccd.org. Students will be notified by June 30 if they received a scholarship. The Scholarship Awards Ceremony is set for Wednesday, August 6. For more information, call 972.599.3145.

 

The Collin Theatre Center will present William Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors June 19-21, 26-28 at 8 p.m. and June 22 and 29 at 2:15 p.m. All performances are at the Black Box Theatre at the Spring Creek Campus, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. The Comedy of Errors  is directed by Joanne Zipay, artistic director of the Judith Shakespeare Company in New York City. All tickets are $5.
