Theatre hands out their annual awards
The 16th Annual Collin Theatre Center Awards Ceremony was held May 12 in the John Anthony Theatre. The students and faculty at Collin College, in addition to the more than 350 Collin Theatre Center season subscribers, voted on the Collin Theatre Center Awards.

Three former Collin students where inducted into the Collin College Theatre Hall of Fame: Brian J. Smith, Andrew T. Chandler and Kathryn Merry. 

 

Collin Theatre Center Chair of Theatre Brad Baker also introduced 39 theatre department scholarship recipients. The Wendy Gayle Brantley Memorial scholarship was awarded to incoming freshman Lila Flores and the Felicia Marie Wilems Lee Memorial scholarship to outgoing student Cory Boulieris.

 

The award for Special Contribution went to the writers and performers of the original musical, Save Our City.
