Turkey and Black Bean Chili
1 pound ground turkey
3 cans black beans
1 14.5-ounce can crushed tomatoes
3 diced jalapenoes
1 diced onion
2 cloves diced garlic
1 tablespoon oregano
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
In large pot, heat oil. Add diced jalapenoes, onion and garlic and cook until onions are translucent. Add ground turkey and cook until brown. Add remaining ingredients and stir. Reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for at least an hour (if not more).
Serves about six.
