Humanities students showcase creations

Music, photography, poetry – find your fancy at the spring humanities exhibit from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Friday, May 2, in the Spring Creek Campus atrium.

Art and more from spring 2008 Humanities 1301 students will be on exhibit. The event is free and refreshments will be served from 2-4 p.m. during an exhibit reception.

Humanities 1301 students explore what it means to be human by examining humankind's creativity throughout the ages. Visual and performing arts, literature, architecture, philosophy, technology, religion and mythology are all part of the humanities scope.

In addition to studying these facets of the human experience, students are asked to express their own creative voice through class projects, some of which will be in this exhibit. Projects on display were selected by professors for their exceptional creativity and/or unique characteristics.
