College hosts day, night transfer fair

Whether the sun is shining or the moon glowing, students can learn the details of transferring to or apply to a university Wednesday, Jan. 23.

Collin College is hosting its College Day/Night Transfer Fair from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Spring Creek Campus Atrium.

Under the coordination of the Texas Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO), about 60 recruits from in and out of state colleges and universities will be on hand to talk to high school or community college students. Students, counselors, and/or parents will have the opportunity to receive information about admission requirements, academic programs, course transferability, financial aid, housing, student life and more.

Some of the participating universities include: Baylor University,  Oklahoma State University, Sam Houston State University, Stephen F. Austin State University, Southern Methodist University, Texas A&M University, Texas A&M University-Commerce, Texas Christian University, Texas State University, Texas Tech, Texas Woman’s University, The University of Texas, The University of Texas at Dallas, The University of Texas at Tyler, University of Arkansas, University of Houston, University of North Texas and University of Oklahoma.
