Collin College will host the 18th annual Power Leadership Breakfast at 7:45 a.m., Monday, Jan. 21, at the Spring Creek Campus Conference Center, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. Collin College is hosting its College Day/Night Transfer Fair from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23 at the Spring Creek Campus Atrium, 2800 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano. About 60 recruits from in and out of state colleges and universities will be on hand to talk to high school or community college students. Students, counselors, and/or parents will have the opportunity to receive information about admission requirements, academic programs, course transferability, financial aid, housing, student life and more. The Distinguished Speaker Series continues with Dr. Joan Fujimura, a professor of sociology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she was founding director of the Robert F. and Jean E.
