Humanities students show 'artitude'
For those seeking an “artitude” adjustment, seek out the exhibit at the Spring Creek Campus atrium Friday, Dec. 7.
The annual Fall Humanities Exhibit – titled “Improve Your Artitude” – will be on display from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. and will feature music, photography, poetry and other visual art from fall 2007 Humanities 1301 students.
Humanities 1301 students explore what it means to be human by examining humankind's creativity throughout the ages. Visual and performing arts, literature, architecture, philosophy, technology, religion and mythology, are all part of the humanities compendium. In addition to studying these facets of the human experience, students are asked to express their own creative voice through class projects, some of which will be in this exhibit. Projects on display were selected by professors for their creativity and/or unique characteristics. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served from 2-4 p.m.
