Faculty and Staff News

The Psi Beta National Honor Society in Psychology for Community and Junior Colleges awarded Jennifer O’Loughlin-Brooks, chapter advisor and professor of psychology, the 2007 Psi Beta/Virginia Staudt Sexton National Faculty Advisor Award at the national convention in San Francisco Aug. 18.


Jackie Langford, director of Simulation Lab, and James Shiplet, EMS Education Coordinator, will present two two-hour hands-on workshops on patient assessment at this years Texas EMS Conference in Houston.

Ceilidh Tilden Charleson-Jennings, chair of the Department of Communication Studies, took second place in the 2007 Mayborn-UNT Press Nonfiction Price for Literary Excellence. The competition was sponsored by the Mayborn Institute of Journalism Literary Nonfiction Conference of the Southwest.

Mary Milford, chair and professor of real estate, was appointed to the Collin County Association of Realtors Board of Trustees.
