Quick Facts
The following table summarizes demographic trends for Collin College’s spring semester credit students.

Spring enrollment increased from 15,322 in 2003 to 17,923 in 2007, up 17 percent in five years. There were relative increases in minority, full-time, male, distance learning, out-of-district, and out-of-country enrollment over the period. The percentage of nondegree-seeking students decreased. The percentage of enrollment during evenings declined as those students shifted into distance learning.

It appears that the trend toward a younger average age may be stabilizing, though it is too early to know with certainty. The decline in enrollment of out-of-country students that began after 2001 also appears to be bottoming out.
