Top 10 aspects of Weekend College
10. American Idle Hands
You know what they say about “idle hands.” You know. Devil’s playground. Anyway, whoever “they” are probably really enjoy Weekend College because it keeps you out of trouble.

9. There are 24 Hours In a Day
OK, so it’s on Friday night, Saturday morning and afternoon and Sunday morning. But it’s not the entire weekend. There’s plenty of time to get the 10 billion other errands and chores finished, too.

8. Always A-Changing
Students have needs. Weekend College administrators know this more than anyone. Curriculum, scheduling, class choice and other options are always being reviewed to serve students better.

7. Options, Options Everywhere
It’s good to have options, even if you don’t use them. It’s just the idea that they are there in case you want to use them. And when you do, there they are. Collin College is all about options.

6. Sunday Brunch
Totally overrated anyway.

5. Fast Times at Collin College
In high school, going to school on weekends was a punishment. In college, it’s more of a necessity for many students who can’t fit college in their schedule otherwise.

4. Mix It Up
Just because you take a Weekend College course doesn’t mean you’re married to it. Students can take a Weekend College course, a traditional day class, a night class, online classes or any combination therewith.

3. Express Lane
Go Express: One course in three-week blocks four times a semester. Or go Extended: All day Saturday for half a semester.

2. To the Core
Weekend College offers core curriculum and degrees exclusively on the weekend for most areas of study.

1. Hit the Skeds
Don’t mold your life to college; mold college to your life. Life, in general, is a huge undertaking. Make college a part of it and fit it in your schedule with Weekend College.
