Theatre department, 'Rocky Horror' garner multiple Columns
The theatre department was recently honored with several Column Theatre Awards.

“Rocky Horror Puppet Show” won Best Musical of the Year - Non-Equity. Additional winners were: Dane Hoffman and Brad Baker, Best Director of a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show”; Mark Mullino, Best Music Director of a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show”; Kimberly Whalen, Best Actress in a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show”; Michael Tuck, Best Supporting Actor in a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show”; Robin Armstrong, James Ortiz and Dan Miga, Best Costume Design of a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show”; and Brittany Noll, Best Stage Manager of a Musical, “Rocky Horror Puppet Show.”

Collin theatre faculty members also received awards: Mark Mullino, Director of a Play, “Brighton Beach Memoirs” at the Flower Mound Performing Arts Theatre; Robin Armstrong, Best Costume Design of a Play -- Non-Equity, “Cinderella” at Theatre Britain; and Christina Dickson, Best Costume Design of a Play -- Equity, “The Women” for Contemporary Theatre of Dallas.

Former Collin students taking home awards included Arianna Movassagh, Jason Ralph, Melissa Farmer, Jeff Stover and T.A. (Tad) Dodson.
