Quick Facts

The following table presents demographic data for students enrolled in Collin’s non-credit classes during academic year 2005-06. Contrary to what is seen in credit courses, there were more males enrolled than females.

About 70 percent of students were white non-hispanic followed by less than 15 percent in all other ethnic classifications. Nearly 30 percent of students in each quarter were 41 to 54 years old. Plano residents made up the largest group of non-credit students.

Except in Quarter 4, over half of the students enrolled in day classes. Less than 4 percent enrolled in distance learning courses.
