College honors fifth anniversary of Sept. 11 terrorist attacks
Events on the Central Park, Courtyard Center for Professional and Economic Development, Preston Ridge and Spring Creek sites will honor and remember the victims and events of Sept. 11, 2001 on the fifth anniversary of the terrorist attacks.

All four campuses will host ceremonies from 11:45 a.m.-noon, Monday, Sept. 11, at the flagpoles.

The theatre department have set two events:

At 8 p.m., Friday, Sept. 8, the college will showcase Mark Oristano’s “And Crown They Good” in the Black Box Theatre on the Spring Creek Campus in Plano. General admission is $20 and tickets for students, seniors or Collin employees are $10. “And Crown Thy Good” will be directed by Rene Moreno. Also, the theatre will host “WTC View” a feature film by Brian Sloan and starring Collin theatre alumnus Michael Urie at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 9 in the Black Box Theatre. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for students, senior citizens and college employees. For more information about “WTC View,” visit
