Texas first lady speaks at candlelight vigil
Texas first lady Anita Perry spoke at the annual candlelight vigil April 6. Perry is a former sexual assault nurse.
First Lady of Texas Anita Perry was the keynote speaker at the annual candlelight vigil held in support of Sexual Assault Awareness Month April 6 at the Spring Creek Campus.

The vigil was co-sponsored by The Turning Point (Rape Crisis Center of Collin County) and Collin. Perry has a healthcare background as a sexual assault nurse working with survivors. Additionally, Vikas Adam, sexual assault awareness supporter, spoke about his own recovery process.
