Applicants sought for SMU dual admissions
Students interested in participating in the dual admissions program with Southern Methodist University (SMU) should be aware that the deadline for application is Tuesday, Aug. 1.

The program is geared for our students who want to transfer to SMU, students with a grade point average of 2.95 with fewer than 30 transferable hours, or students with a grade point average of 2.7 with more than 30 transferable hours.

Students are required to complete two essay questions, and they may need to request a recommendation letter from faculty members. A timeline for the selection process is included on the second page of the application/information sheets.

For application or more information, call Stephanie Hanson, coordinator of Transfer Programs, at 972.985.3734 or visit http://transferu.ccccd.edu/smupreadmit.pdf or http://transferu.ccccd.edu/smu.html .
