Weekend College available for summer semesters

For the first time ever, Collin is offering weekend classes on Friday nights and Saturdays during the summer I, II and III semesters.

These include core classes needed for an associate’s degree or to transfer to a university.

According to Associate Dean and Evening and Weekend Coordinator Sherry Schumann, students can load up on classes during the spring and fall, and take six hours on the weekend in the summer to push them closer to graduation.

Starting during the fall 2005 semester, the college offered students the capability of taking a full 12-hour load.

For more information about Weekend College, contact Schumann at 972.881.5801, e-mail weekendcollege@ccccd.edu or visit the Weekend College webpage at www.ccccd.edu under the “Current Students” link beneath the “Innovative Learning Options” title.
